- Probably the thing to do is contact Amtrak and ask to be put on the mailing
- list for when equipment is put up for bid. Depending on the real salvage
- value and the uiltity of the equipment you might be able to get some for
- a fairly low price, but then of course you will have to pay to have it
- transported and find a place to store it.

- Chance are something like sleeper would go cheap, but coaches, diners or
- dome cars that would be of interest to tourist/dinner lines or railcar
- lessors would go for considerably more than scrap value.
