  26. Probably the thing to do is contact Amtrak and ask to be put on the mailing
  27. list for when equipment is put up for bid.  Depending on the real salvage
  28. value and the uiltity of the equipment you might be able to get some for
  29. a fairly low price, but then of course you will have to pay to have it
  30. transported and find a place to store it.

  32. Chance are something like sleeper would go cheap, but coaches, diners or
  33. dome cars that would be of interest to tourist/dinner lines or railcar
  34. lessors would go for considerably more than scrap value.
