  20. Answer: NO. The "and Pacific" was added after the turn of the 20th century,
  21. I believe, to reflect that the Milwaukee was being turned into YET ANOTHER
  22. transcontinental, at the same time as the Western This and That (Gould roads).
  23. Later it was discovered that America didn't really need that many trans-
  24. continentals, but that's another story. 
  25. BTW, another Colorado road with "and Pacific" was:
