  19. There was a spiral trestle, but it was vandalized in the mid-70s (arson).
  20. The railroad quickly built some switchbacks to bypass the trestle. You
  21. can walk down from the summit of the hill, and follow the path that the
  22. trains used to take. I walked out on the trestle a ways. It's all charred,
  23. but can take an individual's weight no problem. But, it's very high, and it
  24. gets scary.
