  14. The 8008 doesn't have any nonvolatile memory.  If you left the
  15. batteries out long enough for any internal capacitors to discharge
  16. then put them back, that should have totally reset the camera.
  17. If it still came up wedged, the batteries may have leaked some
  18. crap onto the camera electronics and you need a serious repair :-(

  20. When I do any important shooting, I take an FM2 along with my 8008.
  21. That way, if one of them breaks, I still have the FM2...
