- At least with the 60mm MicroNikkor, the focal length changes as it
- focuses, and this change is not specified, so you can't use math to
- figure the effective aperture. With the 60mm at 1:1 I think you need
- to open up 1.5 stops (maybe it is 1+2/3, I don't have the table with
- me), but the formula effective_f_stop = (1+M) * infinity_f_stop would
- indicate 2 full f-stops.

- And, as others point out, this whole compensating thing is only a
- problem if you are using external metering, sunny-16, etc.
