- I've not had an indoor dog before (does that matter? perhaps I've just
- been negligent with my outdoor dogs), and have not had the experience
- of clipping a dog's nails, so I have a couple questions.

- Is it necessary? Is it breed specific? How do you know that a dog's
- nails need clipped? What happens if they aren't clipped? Why isn't
- this something they take care of themselves? (Just another one of
- those things we bred away from the wolf in exchange for permanent
- puppyness?)
