  12. Many years ago I had a Maltese named Sam who took an intense
  13. liking to a buffet. I finally put him up on it to see which
  14. item was sooo attractive. He gently sniffed a few things,
  15. turned around and lay down. Seems he just thought that spot
  16. would provide a good view of the house. He would sit up
  17. there for extended periods after that. When he wanted down,
  18. he would just stand up and sort of clear his throat, and
  19. one of us would set him down. He was a super friend who
  20. still can make me smile.  :)
