- The best I could do was to take a cinder block in,
- and literally tie the tree in its stand to it
- with lots of cord then also run a cord to the nearest
- window to further reinforce it. This by the way will
- prevent the tree from actually falling over but
- not from having cats perch in the tree,
- knock over ornaments, eat the tree and
- anything else they can find and in genereal
- be as spiteful as they can be, but it
- does help. Right around now my tree looks a
- little sparse like it need help (itsbeen up
- since thanksgiving weekend) but alas
- what can one do
