- "Female" 'tiel Behavior?
-
- I have a female who does the "do me" behavior you describe....
- she's a run-of-the-mill breed, and the way you differentiate females from
- males (that aren't albino, anyway) is to look at the underside of the
- tail feathers.
- Males have solid colored (grey usually) feathers, females have a striped
- pattern.
- Good luck -- oh yes, and in babies, they ALL have the same tail patterns,
- so you
- can't really tell until I believe 6-8 months. Behavior should be a good
- indicator,
- though....
