- Bertram of Bearington explains Midrealm Crown Tourney policy and
- invites comments on same.
-
- Actually, I think Midrealm is only more restrictive in a formal
- sense. I *think* that all kingdoms have a clause that allows them
- to bar any individual from fighting in Crown. Midrealm has taken
- that to an extreme. However, I do not think it is all that hard
- to get invited if one truly wishes to fight.
- One other observation: the Midrealm tourney is open to all
- belted or baldriced fighters. However, all who wish to contest
- for the Crown, both the Chivalry and those invited, must send a
- letter of intent, including their consort's name.
- Disclaimer: I am not a fighter. I have never been a fighter.
- I *have* been collecting armor bits for the last two years, and
- plan to spend my Christmas vacation making armor. One day I
- maight even get authorized. Don't hold your breath.
