  31. Many of these were British films--and it's usually the British imports 
  32. that show bare breasts on public TV. European material would probably be the 
  33. same, however. Speaking of Jeremy Irons, remember the episode of "Brideshead 
  34. Revisited", where he and Diana Quick were in bed while his wife was seasick? 
  35. They were shown (fully) in a head-shoulders-and-chest view and supposedly she
  36. said they ought to be naked, and undressed completely; but she couldn't talk 
  37. him into doing likewise.

  39. I don't go to enough movies to comment on the circumstances of the female 
  40. nudity people have mentioned. Are the actresses who do it the stars 
  41. of the film or just bit players? In most of the films I listed, the naked men 
  42. are well-known, respected actors; I wonder if actresses with similar 
  43. reputations would care to do nude scenes. (Interesting point: I don't think
  44. any of the nudity occurred during a scene involving sex.)
