  12. if you're coming from the PA, NJ, NYC area, there are plenty of ways to go,
  13. but here's one word of advice: DON'T TAKE I-95
  14.  
  15. from PA/NJ, my rule of thumb is to also avoid NYC; so, to cross the Hudson,
  16. I'd take the NJ Turnpike North, (if you're starting far enough south, that is)
  17. get on the Garden State Parkway North, go into NY, get in I-287 East, and
  18. cross the Hudson on the Tappan Zee Bridge; by far not the only way to go, but
  19. it's what I use

  21. once you're on I-287 East, my suggested route is I-684 North, I-84 East, into
  22. CT, thru Hartford, into MA, and I-90 towards Boston
