- howdy y'all. On the subject of the infrequency(is that a word?) of
- NICU, I might add that I spoke with the charming and effervescent
- Trey Anastasio following one Phish concert at one Cornell University
- not so long ago, and he said that NICU is one of his favorite tunes.
- He loves it, the band loves it, fans love it. He explained that the
- tune has undergone intense growth and development and is still
- being worked out. He suggested(rather to the disappointment of the crowd)
- that the song has just kind of fallen by the wayside for now. He
- intends to pull it out again most definitely, but thinks that it needs
- time to develop more.
- He pretty much stressed to everyone that the song is a great one,and
- definitely viable, but needs to grow. There is other music to be played
- right now, I guess.
- .
- Happy holidays and all of that to everyone! Congrats to the new netparents
- who posted today! Have fun at the shows this week!!! Wish I could go, but alas,
- I will be miserably stranded at a Widespread Panic run. boohoo. Woe is me.
