- Some years ago, I heard someone on the radio use the term 'Esotronic
- Music'. Although it is definitely not a good replacement for 'New
- Age', it certainly fits for a lot of music that is usually labelled
- under New Age (e.g. the early Tangerine Dream albums, Klaus Schulze,
- Robert Schroeder,... ) simply because it is such weird music that it
- doesn't seem to fit anywhere. Of course the word 'esotronic' already
- suggests that the music is electronic only, which is not at all the
- case.
