  21. Amazing!  I've quit BMG two times now, and I'm STILL a member.  The first time
  22. I simply wrote 'cancel' on the invoice.  I received a call from one of their
  23. drones who then told me that since I'm such a happening guy, I get to be in
  24. their 'preferred customer' group, by which I ALWAYS get the SAME deal, 'buy
  25. one, get one 1/2 off' no matter what the normal offering was.

  27. I still got tired of sending those things back, and finally, after having
  28. received a U2 CD, sent it back, and got one of their 'what a horrible person
  29. you are' notes back, I wrote them an extremely rude letter which expressed
  30. that I TOLD them to cancel me once, and I don't take anymore to having to
  31. tell a place when NOT to ship me merchandise.

  33. So then I get a letter saying I'm an even MORE happening guy, and I get their
  34. 'super-duper-whizzo-bang-extremely-preferred-customer' club, by which I
  35. don't have to send back the stupid little cards each month.  They do however
  36. warn that if I don't order something every now and then, I'll be dropped from
  37. the club.

  39. I still haven't been.  Their mailings come straight from my mailbox into the
  40. trash.
