  13. I lack specific details, but Brook's live one is I think on the label
  14. 4AD. He also appears on the majority of Jon Hassell releases I have, 
  15. including at least one of the ones with Eno.

  17. I saw Michael Brook live about a week ago, opening for John Cale. It was
  18. a very interesting show and my first exposure to his solo work. I 
  19. got to sit in the front row and even exchanged a small dialog with him -
  20. he said he was doing a piece for Kora and asked if anyone knew what a 
  21. Kora was. I blurted out "It's a big gourd thing" and he said something
  22. like "we have a winner, down here in front, it's a *BIG GOURD THING*, 
  23. which got a pretty hearty laugh from the audience. His set at times
  24. reminded me of ASHRA circa BLACKOUTS, and a wee bit of David Torn and 
  25. Adrian Belew at times too. He joined Cale for a rendition of a track
  26. from the Cale/Eno lp WRONG WAY UP. Overall I was pretty interested in
  27. his playing and I'll definitely be checking out some of his work
  28. on cd soon.
