- I'm not sure whether this is the same band or not, but there is a local
- San Diego band called Bone Daddys. Usually they dress in Mardi Gras style
- outfits- beads and harem pants that sorta makes em look like pirates.
- I've caught them about 3-4 times at the Belly Up in Solana Beach. Their
- line-up includes two guitars, bass, drums, percussion, a horn player and
- a lead singer (if my memory is serving me well). Their music is an ecletic
- mix of Reggae and R&B. The percussionist is a funky-looking dude and is
- responsible for that "Bone Daddy Beat." They usually start the first set
- with a song called Funky Nassau, and they are a very popular among the
- Reggae-Deadheads. I know they have played L.A., and they may be trying to break
- into the National music scene. If you ever get a chance to see them DO IT,
- you will not be disappointed!

- p.s. I'm not sure that they are a San Diego local band, but they do play
- around here quite often.
