- Hello,
-
- Yes I got burnt on my first UK trip. Now I only buy stuff not available in the
- US like Capercaillie's Delirium. Last summer when I bought it at the 12.99
- pounds sterling price it was equivalent to 25 U.S. dollars. Now it is more like
- 21 dollars with the exchange rate. I wish more UK albums were available in the
- US.
-
- Boston is also fortunate in that celtic music has enough of a following to
- have a section in the larger record stores.
-
- I noticed prices of amatuer radio equipment are higher in the UK than the
- U.S. It almost like they rub off the dollar sign and put the pound sign in
- place of it.
