-
- I also like her first album (_Karla_Bonoff_). It has two or three of her
- songs that Linda Ronstadt covered, and has one of my favorite "End-of-
- relationship" songs -- "I Can't Hold On". Also a good song that Bonnie
- Raitt did a version of (but I forget the title, even though I remember
- most of the words). It's a good one to sing while driving home.
-
- Travelin' at night -- the headlights were bright,
- And we'd been up many an hour.
- When all through my brain came the refrain of home and its warming fire.
-
- And home songs me of sweet things
- My life there has its own wings
- to fly over the mountain -- though I'm standing still.
-
- Or something like that.

-
- _Restless_Nights_ -- in addition to that great version, the title track
- is another favorite of mine, as well as "Never Stop Her Heart". I also
- agree that this is her strongest album so far.

-
- The only other one I've heard of is _Wild_Heart_of_the_Young_. Had a song
- or two I liked, but I don't remember what they were.
