  11. I was listening to a tape of Matt Malloy in my car the other day,
  12. and was overwhelmed as usual. I started wondering how many other
  13. musicians could be as universally respected as the master of
  14. his/her instrument in his/her musical genre as Matt Malloy is
  15. for Irish music on the flute. I thought this question might make
  16. a good topic for more lists (which we seem to love).

  30. P.S.  I know that the "correct" response to this question
  31. is that such rankings are meaningless etc. etc. and I agree.
