  11. Sometime in the late fifties/early sixties Stravinsky's _A Soldier's 
  12. Tale_ was performed with Lukas Foss conducting and several composers 
  13. playing narrative roles as the principle characters.  The participants 
  14. were Copland, Carter, and Cage as far as I remember.
