- Dear Gentlemen,
-
- In reference to fighting over which versions are the true "annointed" versions, I would like to make a couple comments.
- First of all, why is this in reference to CONTRADICTIONS ABOUT GOD?
-
- Second of all, don't we as believers have a far greater responsibility of sharing the gospel and trying to live a holy life
- than to spend precious time arguing about which translation is the only true one. None of the translations you are
- mentioning, or even reading for that matter, are the one and only true version. The original manuscripts were in Greek
- and Hebrew. Arguing about my version being better than your version is somewhat immature for a believer to be
- wasting time on. There are versions I "prefer" over others, and there are versions that are more accurate translations than
- others, but the fact is, each one of us needs to study ourselves and determine what God is telling us. I recommend that
- you use more than one translation when studying. If possible, the best thing to do is go back to the original language
- and start from that point.
-
- Let's not waste precious time arguing about something like this. We as believers have a much more needed duty that
- we are not doing as well as we should or could.
-
- In His Time,
-
- Matthew
