- I bought a Christmas compilation tape a few years ago when I was in
- Cambridge (UK). The catalog number on it was (EMI) TC EMTV 49, "It's
- Christmas."
-
- I wasn't impressed with the mastering though. It's recorded at a very
- low level compared to the rest of the cassette. According to the label,
- the song was written by Lake/Sinfield, copyright 1975.
-
- The style is reminisencent of Pictures at an Exhibition, but talk about
- a depressing song. I thinks it's the most negative Christmas song I've
- heard.
-
- The same tape has some interesting songs by other people: Kate Bush
- does something called December will be Magic Again. Chris De Burgh
- does something called A Spaceman Came Travelling.
