  11. It seems all four Devonsquare albums have been issued on CD.

  13. After going crazy over the Devonsquare album "Bye Bye Route 66"
  14. (recently someone here asked about 'If You Could See Me Now' from that
  15. album) I went looking for their back catalog. The previous 1988 album
  16. "Walking On Ice" was released on CD but it out of print; I was able to
  17. locate a cutout copy via a search service.

  19. The first two albums, "Devon^2" and "Night Sail" were issued on vinyl
  20. by a local (Portland, Maine) company called Blind Date records.
  21. They're out of print too, of course, but an ad in Goldmine got me in
  22. touch with a Maine dealer (who went to school with band member Herb
  23. Ludwig!) and he sold me vinyl copies of both albums for a very
  24. reasonable price. I was =very= happy to complete this excellent
  25. collection.

  27. Imagine my surprise, then, when the above search service contacted me
  28. to say they had located the first two albums, combined, on a Japanese
  29. CD! It just arrived (Night Sail: Village Green/Pony Canyon (JAPAN)
  30. PCCY-00029) and the sound quality is SUPERB! It cost an arm and a leg,
  31. and a 3 month wait ... but it was worth it.

  33. Anyone interested in my vinyl copies of the first two albums, drop me
  34. a line.
