  16. Very sad news indeed.  I will miss him.  I was fortunate enough to
  17. see him play two weekends ago at Kimball's East in Emeryville,
  18. California.  It was a real thrill to see him perform live--I've
  19. become quite an admirer of his music.  He played two good sets,
  20. each around and hour and a half.  He was relaxed while he
  21. was playing and quite friendly with the audience.  At one point
  22. there was a little girl in the audience who brought him a flower.
  23. He accepted it graciously and then later dedicated a song to her.
  24. I was impressed by his presence and what seemed like a genuine
  25. enjoyment of performing.  He even introduced his wife, who was
  26. in the audience that night.  I will remember the show fondly.
