-
- Awesome. I really enjoyed Certified (tho it didn't make my Cadence
- poll list), but Pace Yourself is everything you expect from a mature
- Tim Berne. Wicked skewed grooves. Tightly organized multisection
- compositions. Kickass playing. Highly recommended.
-
- In fact, I looked over my Tim Berne collection, and I don't think
- he made a record that I didn't like enough to keep. (And I'm pretty
- picky about what I keep.)

-
- I really haven't been impressed with Davis after seeing him live and
- hearing him on record, but I'll take your word for it. Or maybe it's
- because I like Tani Tabbal (Roscoe Mitchell's other regular drummer)
- so much, Davis just pales in comparison.

-
- Sounds like you haven't been looking hard enough at B-Side, Joe. There's
- always Cadence too, of course. :-)
