- Well, if you were looking for other takes rather than other mixes, you didn't
- really pick the right Yellow Dogs. A lot of times, the later stuff will only
- be different mixes rather than earlier takes, probably because earlier takes
- at this stage would only be a few instruments and no vocals. I guess YD
- thinks this would be less attractive to buyers. I myself would love to
- hear such things, though. But check out Unsurpassed 1-3 & 6-7 - there's lots
- of alternate takes on those.

- Luckily, the store I go to lets you listen to them in advance to know what's
- on them. You may want to ask if you can do this.

- Well, most of the YDs tell you what takes they are if they are different,
- and they're normally correct. If you don't have <THE BOOK> (_The Beatles
- Recording Sessions_ by Mark Lewisohn), you should get that. Then you will
- know what takes can possibly be out there. Also, _The Ultimate Recording
- Guide_ by Allen J. Wiener would maybe be useful, but it is quite incomplete.
- I could post a list of stuff I know about, but not right at the moment.
- Or, you can always e-mail one of us or post on here to find out what someone
- knows about a particular bootleg.
