  28. I must once again recommend the Frontline documentary "The Man
  29. Who Killed John Lennon."  You may want to call PBS- they have
  30. a video 800 number.   The documentary is a VERY well-done one-hour
  31. study into the mind of this deranged man.  It also talks in general
  32. about people who stalk celebrities.  There has been NOTHING new about
  33. the murder since this documentary aired in 1988.    The recent 20/20
  34. interview of Mr. Chapman simply reiterated what the documentary
  35. talked about.

  37. Mr. Chapman was obsessed with the novel -The Catcher In The Rye-,
  38. and for some reason, singled out Lennon as a "phony bastard."  
  39. He did not believe that Lennon was a danger to the world.  The
  40. notion that he was hired by the FBI is absurd.  The FBI would have
  41. no reason to kill Lennon, especially in 1980.
