  15. Good idea, though solder is pretty soft, and your fix may not
  16. last long mechanically. What might work better is to get some
  17. copper braiding used to desolder, and fill your "nick" with
  18. braid fragments, then solder. This will give your fix some 
  19. internal structural strength. May be the thing to do if your
  20. initial work does ever wear out.
