- Good idea, though solder is pretty soft, and your fix may not
- last long mechanically. What might work better is to get some
- copper braiding used to desolder, and fill your "nick" with
- braid fragments, then solder. This will give your fix some
- internal structural strength. May be the thing to do if your
- initial work does ever wear out.
