- Hopefully, this message will get through. I'm still debating weather
- to get a Sega Genesis or a SNES. Here are the types of games I like:
-
- I LIKE:
- * run & jump/platform games (e.g. Mario/Sonic)
- * beat the crap out of people (SF 2/SoR)
- * SOME shooters (esp. with lots of powerups)
- * SOME simulators
- * RPGs (big time! what does Genesis have besides Phantasy Star II?)
- * other action games (Ecco the Dolphin looks cool :)
-
- I DON'T like:
- * sports games (unless they're really good do I consider it)
- * racing games
- * strategy only games (have enough on my computer :)
-
- So could you give me a list of some titles that fit these categories for
- both systems? BTW, what "Star Trek" and "Ultima" games are available
- for each system? And how does Dungeon Master compare to the Atari
- ST version? Also, I'd appricate any comments you have on the whole
- CD situation. I was pretty sceptical, but I saw the Sega CD in a store
- display and a list of upcoming games (for CD only), and now I want
- one. :b If only it were cheaper...
-
- I have the specs for each system practically memorized, so please don't
- send me a message telling me I should get the SNES because it has more
- colors or a Genesis because it has a faster clock speed (but if you
- can think of some examples where you can see the difference, please
- feel free to write me).
