- (I'm not the same person who repeatedly posts asking for a use MGH [as if
- someone would really give theirs up :) ])
-
- I am looking for any info I can get on companies who are offering NEW
- Multi-Game Hunter console backup units via mail-order. Finally, I have
- the ca$h to afford a new one :). There was a post some weeks ago which
- discussed one dealership's offer (complete set, including disk drive,
- SFC->SNES adaptor, all required peripherals, 16 megabits ram standard,
- etc) for the best price I had heard. The post also mentioned that the
- deal would be going on well into January. Well, I've spent nearly the
- past week being TOTALLY IGNORED by these fellows! Their answering machine
- (after explaining problems with shipments) has stored three of my messages,
- the last being sent as "urgent" (I thought that might help :^P ). I
- even called their BBS several times, and left about 5 messages. Their
- on-line ordering does NOT have any MGH options, even though the opening
- message again explains difficulties with the MGH shipments and offers
- rebates (!) for anyone willing to stick it out. All I wanted was
- confirmation that "yes, we're still trying to sell them" or "go away;
- we don't have shipments yet" but they won't help me out :).
-
- Needless to say, now that I can afford a less-reasonable price for one,
- I am trying to find one :). I know there are other mail-order dealerships
- out there (I tried E-mailing one person about it but he has been unhelpful),
- but I don't know where to look... and ABOVE ALL I need the system to
- be just as complete as the one offered in the original usenet post (and
- preferrably with a 90-day warranty, which was also offered). It'd also
- help if they allowed COD and 2nd-day UPS :). If anyone has any info they
- can share, I'd appreciate it!
-
- (Also, if anyone has a copy of the original usenet post, I'd appreciate
- that too :)
-
- (Also, if anyone has had ANY success with the company I'm referring to,
- please tell me about it! Thanx :)
