- I got the Menacer/T2 package for my kids this Christmas and it is a blast.
- The game is just like the arcade which I thoroughly enjoyed and just as
- hard. I haven't made it past the truck scene yet. The Menacer can get a
- little quirky at times. Sometimes the cursor appears to get stuck or may
- not want to go to a certain ares of the screen. This may be due to low
- batteries (it takes 6 AAA size for approx 20 hr playtime ?) or lighting
- conditions screwing up the infrared sensors. Usually pressing the pause
- button on and off clears it up. I haven't played with it that much to
- really fine tune the use of it yet but my first impressions are pretty
- good. T2 doesn't use the binocular vision attachment so I wonder what use
- that thing it. I usually hold it on hip (Rambo style ) and blast away.
- Much easier to aim with Menacer than the joystick IMHO. It would have been
- nice to have an AC adapter for it so you don't waste $ on batteries.
- Another quirk is you need to stand about 4-5 feet away fron the screen,
- which is tough when using a 14 in monitor. Would be great on a 40- 50
- incher though.
