  11.      I previously added a language switch to an older Genesis, but I had
  12. to return it because of an overheating problem--after about
  13. half an hour the games would start locking up.  This occured about a
  14. month after I made the switch--most likely due to the board design.  My old
  15. Sonic Genesis had a solid rectangular heat sink, long jumper wires,
  16. and the full-size 68000 cpu.
  17.      I was surprised when I opened up the newer Sonic Genesis.  The board
  18. has been redesigned somewhat.  It now has a fin-type heat sink, no jumper
  19. wires, fewer chips, and a mini-square 68000 cpu.  I couldn't find any
  20. jumpers on the board: i.e. jp1-4.  Does anybody know of a way to add a
  21. language switch to the latest Genesis design?
