-
- It is an "adult" game (but kids like it too). If you have seen it on
- the Amiga or other platform, it is almost identical (excluding mouse).
- It is a puzzle game more than action, although timing can be critical
- on some of the levels. There are 125 levels in the categories of:
- Fun, Tricky, Taxing, Mayhem and Sunsoft (in increasing difficulty).
- The main objective is to lead a horde of lemmings from an entrance to
- their exit while avoiding all sorts of dangers. The hard part is that
- your only control is to teach individual lemmings tasks such as
- digging and climbing. The outcome is a puzzle game because you have
- to survey the terrain and figure out a way to save a minimum percentage
- (differs per level) with the only the abilities that the level gives
- you (i.e. 2 climbers and 1 digger).
-
- The game is a lot of fun, and very addictive. It only takes a few
- minutes to compleat a level once you figure it out. This always gave
- me the feeling of "just one more level before I quit" on several a
- late night.
-
- BTW, my favorite part of the game is the little voice of a lemming
- saying "Oh no" while holding its head just before exploding. Too
- cute!
