- Well, the screen is backlit, so there is no problem in the dark. Just
- remember, the higher you turn up the backlighting, the shorter the battery
- life.
-
- As far as recommendation, that depends on taste. Comparing GG to Genesis is
- not very realistic since GG is 8 bit and Genesis is 16 bit. The better
- comparison is GG to the Sega Master System. The GG and SMS based on the same
- basic machine and GG will play SMS carts with a ~$20.00 adapter. This took my
- library from 5 to 25 in seconds.
-
- As for buying one if I had it all to do again, yes I would. I am not a hard
- gamer, but I am not an "anything will do" kind of person so, I find it is a
- perfect compromise between the annoying GameBoy play and the high end
- portables' price. Ofcourse, I liked the SMS, so I am slightly biased (like
- everyone on here is to their system to some degree:).
-
- Hope I that helps some. I don't want this to turn into another "Why my
- system is the best" thread, so I didn't take a real stand on the choice
- issue.
-
- The most troubling thing about GG is that it lacks that GREAT Blast
- Processing. ;-)
-
- Happy gaming!
