- The original EBD used the old style sockets, the two later runs
- of the GAME one which was the Limited Edition used the newer style
- sockets that use the 555. The manual was never changed to
- reflect this to my knowledge. A #44 is a bayonet type bulb
- similar (but smaller) to that used in a car brake light.
- The 555 is a push in type bulb. To replace them most people just
- bed the socket back. Note: BE CAREFULL and do not pull at the plastic
- socket, instead grab the metal arm and gently pull it out until you
- have just enough room to put the bulb in. That old plastic socket
- will crack very easily.
