  39. Haste yourself with the staff first. The Barldog will absorb charges from
  40. all of them, so you will not have as many charges as you think, and it may
  41. not work (it helps to have 118 intelligence)

  44. Get rid of those. Get a few potions of healing instead.

  46. You do need a rune of protection, several. But the barlog will teleport
  47. you and break them.
