- I've been playing alot with Klaus Breuer's Mech Desing module
- (part of his MechWar package). While examining the 80 ton Charger
- (3026 technology), I was astounded to discover how ... how can I put
- it to offend nobody... how wasted this mech was. Imagine: 80 tons
- moving at 5,8, with 5 puny small lasers ! I examined if I could
- improve on it, and I opted to use a 70 ton Mech and this SCG-1MRZ
- SuperCharger was the result. The most important differences are the
- armor (the S-Charger has 216 while the poor old Charger has 160) and
- the weapons (scrap the small lasers, and include 6 MLs, with enough
- heat sinks to fire away without too much heat buildup).
-
- It's incredible what a 10 ton diet will do to some mechs! And I sure
- would be more afraid of this heavy mech charging me than the 80 ton
- assault Charger.
- Here is a modified capture from Mech Design

- P.S. I did'nt use any 3050-55 technology since our campaign is (thankfully)
- still in the 3026 era. So my knowledge of newer technology is rather nil.
