  12. An important point to remember about FASA is that they are one of
  13. the companies in gaming, only to make money.  Some may remember
  14. the acient times when FASA did a lot fo Traveller stuff.  Despite
  15. their active participation in that system, and putting out the 
  16. best material for that system, they dropped their line overnight
  17. because it might conflict with some of their own SciFi products.
  18. They did offer suscribers to their magazine credit for other 
  19. products, but it was a chintzy profit-oriented decision.

  21. To answer your question, FASA is in charge of the "official" BT
  22. story line.  Lot's of people don't like it.  Do they care?  Not as
  23. long as you keep buying stuff.
