-
- First, you mention AA guns, plural, in one territory. That is
- forbidden.
-
- Second, the game does not allow for ships being "at sea" or "in dock".
- Sad, but true.
-
- You mention ferrying US troops to the UK. Why? Just use them in an
- assault immediately. This assumes, of course, that you have a large
- enough force to do some damage. Of course, it is best to attack with
- the UK first, since then the US can attack before the Germans can react
- to the UK-inflicted losses.
-
- Other that the AA gunS, it looks like you played it correctly, land and
- sea battles are separate entities. As for how to get around it, if the
- Germans have a large enough air force, then build a Allied (ususally UK)
- carrier and station fighters on it to improve the defense of the fleet.
-
- It sounds to me, though, like you play a little slower than possible.
- If the Germans are building a bomber fleet, they must have the USSR at
- bay and enough forces to stop the Allied amphibious assault as well. If
- that's the case, the Allies have probably missed one or more
- opportunities to attack.
-
- Hope this helps! If you have questions, e-mail me, ok?
