- Another word on amp-hours: The ratings you see for batteries are based on
- a 20 hour rate. i.e., it is the average current that can be drawn from the
- battery for 20 hours that will bring the battery voltage down to 1.76 volts
- per cell or something like that voltage. So a 100 amp-hour battery can
- supply 5 amps for 20 hours. Note that the higher the drain, the less the
- amp-hours achievable. I.e., You cannot draw 20 amps for 5 hours. It will be
- less.
