- Perhaps there has to be some realization that in an urban area there are considerable
- numbers of people, and if you intend to convert many car drivers to bikes, then you
- will begin to face the same problems with respect to bikes that we now face with cars.
- I would be in favour of bike paths if they truly did give an incentive for people who
- don't ordinarily bike, to begin doing so.
- Ultimately there must be bicycle training introduced at an early age to alleviate the
- problems that John Pershing writes about. It should be part of the phys. ed. curriculum
- in all schools.
