- Most climbs (the more difficult ones) are on the outskirts of the valley
- The entire metro Phoenix area is skirted by various mountain ranges.
- Within the valley, South Mountain Park provides a more than adequate pla
- to satisfy any need you might have to climb. Traffic is very minimal
- and posted limits are 15 mph (I think). Sorry I don't have any numbers
- for you. Next time your in Tempe, give South Mountain Park a try. It's
- only 10 - 20 minutes away depending on where you are in Tempe. There's
- some great mountain biking in the park as well. If you need directions
