- There's no law that says a transcontinental ride has to be done in one year.
- Two experienced male cyclists, in their 50s, are seeking companions for an
- unsupported tour this coming summer. We will follow the BikeCentennial
- Northern Tour route from Anacortes, Washington, over the Cascades, and
- through Glacier/Waterton International Park and on through Montana, North
- Dakota and Minnesota. The plan is to ride unsupported, mostly camping with
- an occasional motel stay. We expect to average 85 miles per day, making it
- about a 25 day ride. We will start sometine during the second half of June,
- but have not yet set a firm date. Ideally, we would like to have a group of
- 4 to 6 persons. If there are two more from the Midwest we'll rent a van to
- get to Anacortes.
