- Supposedly Paul Stek writes:
- Just for fun, let's suppose I were a Cat 3 racer and
- president of the largest bike club in New England, and suppose
- I thought that the upgrade policy change made it far too
- difficult for people to upgrade from 3 to 2, and suppose
- I wanted to tell the person who thought this scheme up that
- he/she had puss between their ears, who would I address the
- letter to?
-
- The appropriate person to address is USCF Executive Director Jerry
- Lace, though the prinicipal author of the categorization guidelines is
- his associate, John Tarbert and much of the input reportedly came from
- the coaching staff, led by Jiri Mainus.
-
- P.S. As a couple of people have politely pointed out to me, some of
- the supposedly six place points schedules given in the guidelines have
- points to only five places, which was caused by my lazy fingers.
- The six place point schedules should read: 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
