- Depends on your engine size and the power rate of your heater, and most
- importantly, the air temprature. My honda accord '81, for example,
- has a block heater of 400 watts. The colder it is, the harder it is to
- start the car. It's ok so far for -40 degree as I experienced. There
- so many things involved in starting a car. If it is really cold, you have
- a chance of not being able to start your car.
