- If anyone can help...
-
- My '81 fiat spider 2000 (fuel injection) had a problem with the fuel pump.
- (then it gets really wierd...)
-
- No power to the fuelpump...so at the advice of a mechanic, i bypassed a
- relay box, and got power to the pump. It hummed, but it didn't pump gas!
-
- ok. so i replace the fuel pump, and still using the bypassed wire, the
- new pump works great.
-
-
-
- So i start my car. Vroom it goes for a while (30secs), so i shut it off so
- i can go to work tightening the pump brackets etc...
-
- I lower the car and now it doesn't start!
-
- i'm getting gas at the engine end. (at the fuel regulator)
- Now what?!
-
- could my FI control box be screwed?
- If it is screwed, how much is a new one( bosch L-jettronic) ?
-
- Is it just one of those "its broke so replace it" parts? (an inside
- inspection revealed no obvious problems)
-
-
-
- Thanks for the help!
- (any onther ideas, books or people to talk to also helps!)
