  14. My '81 fiat spider 2000 (fuel injection) had a problem with the fuel pump. 
  15. (then it gets really wierd...)

  17. No power to the fuelpump...so at the advice of a mechanic, i bypassed a
  18.  relay box, and got power to the pump. It hummed, but it didn't pump gas!

  20. ok. so i replace the fuel pump, and still using the bypassed wire, the 
  21. new pump works great.

  25.  So i start my car. Vroom it goes for a while (30secs), so i shut it off so
  26. i can go to work tightening the pump brackets etc...

  28. I lower the car and now it doesn't start!

  30. i'm getting gas at the engine end. (at the fuel regulator)
  31. Now what?!

  33. could my FI control box be screwed?
  34. If it is screwed, how much is a new one( bosch L-jettronic) ?

  36. Is it just one of  those "its broke so replace it" parts? (an inside
  37. inspection revealed no obvious  problems)
