  11. Hey, here's a question for you installation-parts-and-stuff pros:

  13. I'm getting a new Mazda MX6 soon, and I'm considering my options for CD.
  14. Mazda offers both a dash mount CD, seperate from the AM/FMcassette unit, and
  15. a trunk mounted changder.  I haven't checked on the price of the changer,
  16. cause Iknow it's astronomical.  The dash unit is 680 bucks.  I looked in
  17. a 929, with the changer installed, and could tell that the equipment is Pioneer.

  19. What I'm wondering is: Is there a connector on the radio to which the CD
  20. source is connected to, so that it switches to CD whenever one is inserted,
  21. or the conrtrol on the changer is activated?  Can a stereo installer get
  22. this kind of connector so that I could get an aftermarket changer, but have
  23. it connected the same as the factory unit?
  24. The radio-cassettte is not a controller, so there would be a control plate.
