  22. Hate to be a nit-picking pain, but an infinite baffle enclosure is NOT the
  23. same as a sealed enclosure.

  25. An infinite baffle 'enclosure' is just a driver mounted in an infinitely
  26. large baffle board.  Since no one has an infinite amount of space in their
  27. car, we are forced to do it a little differently.  The trunk is accoustically
  28. sealed from the passenger compartment, and the driver is mounted in the
  29. baffle board that seperates the two.

  31. This sort of set-up has advantages and disadvantages, but I can't generally
  32. recommend it for most people because of the importance of driver selection
  33. and the severe and permanent changes to the car.  (That, and you get all
  34. the metal things in your trunk sticking to the driver motor assemblies!) :)

  36. Sealed is, of course, in a sealed box.  This was not be what the dealer
  37. was offering.
