  12. I have a Sony A30 CD changer in my trunk and a hole in my dash!

  14. Local stereo retailers have told me that the new generation of Sony UniLink 
  15. stereos cannot be used with the older 13-pin changers.  However, a fellow
  16. at Sound City (a mail order shop) says he will soon be receiving a plug
  17. from Sony to connect the two.  He did not have a model # yet.  Sony has no
  18. knowledge of this, but the customer service guy I talked with thinks its in
  19. the works (unofficially, of course).  Apparently the marketing department
  20. has to make a decision.

  22. I would love to buy a new UniLink head unit, but I don't want to buy a new

  24. changer for no reason.

  26. Those of you who follow the car audio press may know:  Any rumblings in the
  27. wind?

  29. My fall back, of course, is to buy a Blaupunkt or similar tuner which can
  30. control my older changer, but I think their ergonomics leave a bit to be
  31. desired.
